Crystal Diamondblossom's Troop Glowworm Adventures:
On the first day of Troop Glowworm Spirit weeks, Crystal woke up with a
yawn. "I'm so excited for the walk through the forest with Camp Counselor
Jenny today!" said Sophie, her room mate. "I'm not." Crystal mumbled under
her breath. She was afraid of the forest, since the noises gave her the
creepies. "What did you say? I didn't hear you because I was changing."
Sophie said. "Oh I said I am totally hyper for it too!" Crystal fibbed. She
absolutely didn't want Sophie teasing her.
Soon, it was night. "Are you Troop Glowworm spirited fairies ready to go
to the forest now?" Camp Counselor Jenny said. "YES!!" replied all of the
fairies, Sophie the loudest. "Yes..." mumbled Crystal with
a frown on her
face."
As we walked through the woods, Sophie kept talking about things about
nature that really got on Crystal's nerves. "Cool.. Nice..." Crystal repeated,
bored. Suddenly, she saw something glowing! "AHHH! GHOST!" she screamed.
Sophie, surprised that her room mate was afraid of the forest said "Hey,
it's just a glowworm nutty headed Crystal!" Crystal laughed nervously.
As the walk continued, Crystal got more frightened and frightened.
Suddenly, her wing got caught in a bush. "HELP!! MONSTER ATTACK!" screamed
Crystal. Sophie stopped talking and whirled around. "Its just a bush!" she said,
helping to free her room mate. Since Crystal's wing hurt, they would have
to run to the group, instead of fly. But... when they turned around. they
didn't see the group! "Oh
no! We are lost!" said Sophie. "NO!! And I have
something to tell you Sophie... I actually lied when I said I was excited for this,
but I am truly afraid of the forest. Please don't laugh!" Crystal said. Sophie
stared at her but didn't laugh. "I would never laugh at my sister! I used
to be afraid of the forest too! You just have to get used to it. Sophie said
with a smile. This made Crystal feel determined. "Your right! Lets find the
group!" Crystal said, smiling.
A few minutes later, Sophie saw a glowworm. She asked her if she was
able to help find the way to the group. The glowworm nodded slightly, as if
she were understanding Sophie's words. They followed the little cute
glowworm through bushes, pass trees, and through some mud. Finally,
they could see the back of Jenny's long tied up ponytail.
"Crystal! Sophie! Where have you been? We were worried!" said Jenny.
Crystal and Sophie felt like hugging the glowworm and giving her as much
love as possible. The glowworm smiled as if to say your welcome, and quickly
left. "Sorry, we kind of stopped a bit to look at stuff." Sophie lied. Crystal nudged
Sophie's elbow. "Oh, you are so fortunate and brave! That glowworm must
of helped you! That's awesome!" Jenny replied. Sophie and Crystal smiled.
Not only did Crystal get over her fears about the forest, she met some
a really nice glowworm too! "Glowworms aren't ghosts at all!" Crystal said
happily.
